Deuterium (Proton Trilogy Part II)

Your boots are on the ground. You peer through the dust and fog at what used to be a city, but there’s no time to gawk. Your first target is approaching quickly. But what is it? What’s responsible for all this mess? You’re about to find out. It’s down to business… Your friend falls in the ensuing firefight. The attacker is stunned and wanders off, and you seize the chance to check on your buddy. He’s gone… You catch sight of the invader and throw all your fury into taking him down. Now it’s quiet once more. Well, almost…

At long last, the wait is over: Deuterium has arrived. Yes, deuterium. You were probably expecting Neutron or Electron, right? But that would be too obvious. Well, you actually got what you were expecting because deuterium is composed of one proton, one neutron, AND one electron, so there you go! It’s also known as Hydrogen-2 because it’s the same as hydrogen with a neutron attached. Okay, so enough nerdiness…

Enjoy the second installment of the Proton Trilogy! Watch for Part III coming soon!
