“Lounge Chair Holiday” is a funky laidback groove featuring drums, upright bass, jazz guitar, vibraphone, and a good old B3 organ. Reminiscent of acid jazz (think Medeski, Martin, Scofield, and Wood – listen here), hip hop (think G. Love & Special Sauce), trip hop, and downtempo lounge, this piece would be good for chilled-out soundtracks, funky commercials, DVD menus, and background lounge music.
