The calm of an early winter morning is shattered as a sentry spots the approaching army. Every man is called to his station to defend the fortress. Will they survive the winter siege?
My submission to the 8Dio 2015 Stand Out Contest, “Winter Siege,” features the 8Dio Bazantar both melodically and percussively. The lead melody uses the Bazantar Phrases Bowed Sadness patch and the Bazantar Arc 2 Stroke patch (with some pitch shifting effects), and the main percussive element makes use of the Bazantar Taps patch.
The Soundiron Bowed Bucket and the Soundiron Twine Bass were also used to add percussive elements.
